My Journey to Becoming an RD
I became a dietitian nearly 20 years ago because I was tired of watching women try to fix their bodies, control their food, or shrink themselves to be worthy. I’ve spent decades counseling thousands of clients, and again and again, I’ve seen how shame, confusion, and unrealistic standards from the diet culture keep people stuck and disconnected.
I knew there had to be another way. A way that is rooted in compassion, clarity, and coming home to ourselves.
I grew up in an Italian family where food was love, connection, and celebration. The kitchen was the heart of our home, and the table was where we came together. Food brought warmth, belonging, and joy. That early experience shaped my core belief: food should be a source of nourishment, not stress and our bodies deserve to feel like safe, trusted places to live.
That’s why I do this work. I help women rebuild trust with their bodies, untangle themselves from toxic wellness messaging, and create sustainable habits that are rooted in joy, flexibility, and self-respect.
My mission is to help you feel more at home in your body so you can live your most vibrant life.
My Nutrition Philosophy
I believe wellness should feel simple, sustainable, and deeply personal. Food is so much more than fuel—it’s connection, culture, and care. I take a compassionate, holistic, and science-based approach to health that empowers people to listen to their bodies, nourish themselves well, and stop chasing rigid rules. Health isn’t about control, it’s about honoring your life, respecting your body, and allowing more joy to flow freely.
Who I Work With
I help women through life transitions like hormone shifts, postpartum, perimenopause, and fertility, addressing emotional eating and body disconnection. I focus on sustainable wellness for busy moms and high-achieving women, offering practical tools to build a compassionate relationship with food and self.
I also work with companies and teams who want to build a culture of well-being that goes beyond surface-level perks.
My Style as a Dietitian
Clients describe me as:
Empowering
Approachable
Realistic
Grounded
Warmly direct
I believe in keeping things real, listening to your challenges and brainstorming solutions that you are excited about implementing into your life. My sessions feel like a conversation between equals, where science meets soul, and where you leave feeling seen, heard, and capable.
